MATHS MASTERS
WHAT DO WE DO?
Maths Masters host face to face tournaments
for more able mathematicians, developing
good problem solvers into great problem-
solvers by competing with the best of the best
to develop resilience. Teams with the highest
scores at the end of each heat are awarded
trophies and have the opportunity to progress
to regional and even national finals!
Our events are for more able mathematicians in the following age categories: Under 9 (Year 4), Under 10 (Year 5) and Under 11 (Year 6). Tournaments give children the exciting opportunity to compete in a dynamic and ambitious environment, working collaboratively with a peer from their own school against students from other schools. Teams will solve mathematical challenges which require methodical, systematic problem-solving, building their resilience along the way.

trophies are awarded to the teams who finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and there are also 'Mathematical Resilience' trophies presented. In addition, all teams are awarded certificates and the top 25% of teams will be celebrated on our website's results page.
